More Details about the Herons Roost Building and Rooms:

These "cabin-like" rooms are similar to our individual waterfront cabins, surrounded inside with wood.

Each room (including the Heron Loft in 2010) has 2 comfortable rocker glider chairs for sitting and looking out the windows, or reading; each queen bed is positioned for a fabulous view looking out the windows (except Wood Nest, where the sitting room has the view of the bay). All rooms also have cooking capability with a microwave, toaster, fridge, coffee pot and BBQ  grill outside. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is included (sheets, dishes, utensils etc.) 2-burner stove tops  and a set of pans are also available.


Above is the Herons Roost building as seen from Beach Drive, and as you drive into our property.  Entrances to the rooms are on the west side of the building, as seen in the photo below.

Paul finished shingling the Heron design this spring, another of is special Silhouette Shingles.  The slight variance in color you see are the new shingles in the above photo will blend in with time.
