 CABIN POLICIES:

• Check-in: After 4 PM
  • Please call if you'll be later than 8pm
  • Early check-in or arrival is NOT normally available
  • Special arrangements (early arrivals), if available, must be made well in advance of arrival
• Check - out by 10 AM
  • Express check-out ~ just leave the key & call to say goodbye
• Late check-outs must be pre-arranged
  • Late check-outs should be pre-arranged well in advance of departure time
  • Failure to make proper arrangements may result in additional charges
    
• Please remove shoes inside (Alaska Tradition)

• To Ensure Healthy Air for all our guests, our entire property is Non- Smoking
  • If you must smoke, please be sure to leave the property, either on foot or by driving down the road
  • Please DO NOT smoke on the beach, or while walking to the beach on our property
    
• No pets inside cabins or rooms (see "allergy friendly") (we have 1 designated Pet-Friendly unit (new in fall 20110))
• Allergy Friendly (with the exception of the View Nest unit, our one pet-friendly unit)

RESERVATION POLICIES for Single Room Reservations:

• All lodging subject to 3% tax
• We require a valid Visa or  MasterCard for all reservations however we encourage cash payment
  • Personal checks are accepted with pre-approval
  • Due to increases in credit card processing we encourage cash payments and offer a 5% discount
    
• Reservations for May through Sept for a single room, require 50% deposit (or 1 night, whichever is greater)
• We send you a preliminary email with all the details and wait 72 hours prior to processing any charges
  
• Reservations made at least 60 days in advance may take advantage of cash discount by mailing a check for deposit
  
• Reservations with a balance due upon arrival may pay by credit card or cash; cash receives a discount 
• Deposits are due in January, or at the time of booking, which ever comes later
• 2 or 3 night (depends on unit) minimum advance booking unless a 1 night opening exists 
• Qualify for our lowest "GO Green Rate" by staying at least 3 nights
• 1 night reservations require 100% deposit and are not normally available more than 7 days in advance (unless a one night opening exists)
• Reservations for October through April Qualify for our  "GO GREEN Special" by staying at least 6 nights AND get the 7th night free!
• Cash Discounts available, 5% off credit card rates
  

RESERVATION POLICIES for Multiple Room or Group Reservations:

• All lodging subject to 3% tax
• We Accept: Visa,  MasterCard, Cash, Travelers' Checques, Money Orders, Certified Checks
  
• Reservations for May through September for multiple room or group bookings require 100% payment within 60 days of booking
  • Payments made by check qualify for cash discount rates, only if time allows (60 days in advance)
    
  • Special terms may be arranged based on specific circumstances
    
• Payment is due in January, or at the time of booking, which ever comes later
• 2 or 3 night (depends on unit) minimum advance booking unless a 1 night opening exists
  

 

HOUSEKEEPING POLICIES:
During your stay, you have your cabin or room, to yourselves, for your maximum privacy. To keep our rates low we do not normally do daily maid service. If no other arrangements are made, Housekeeping will visit your unit on the following schedule:

Fresh towels every 2-3 days

Fresh sheets every 7 days

Fresh supplies every 2-3 days or as needed

Trash removal every 2-3 days or as needed

We want guests to be comfortable and happy and will adjust the above schedule as requested.

Guests wishing daily maid service have the option, between May 15 and September 15 of adding Daily Maid service to their reservations, with an additional cost of $30 per night.

• CANCELLATION Policies:
• We are an extremely tiny company serving a limited number of guests each year.  We strongly suggest travel insurance, and have some recommendations should you need some.
  • Our SUMMER  Season (May through September) cancellation policy
    • Cancellations of single room reservations or group bookings that occur more than ninety (90) days in advance, will receive a refund of deposit, minus the cancellation fee, at the time of cancellation
    • Cancellations of single room reservations or group bookings that occur within ninety (90) days, but more than thirty (30) days in advance of arrival,  will receive refunded deposits, minus cancellation fees, once the cabin or room is resold.
    • Cancellations of single room reservations that occur within thirty (30) days of arrival will be charged the cancellation fee, and any remaining balance due at the time of cancellation; refunds will then be issued for any resold nights.
      
    • All cancellations are subject to a $20 per night, per room cancellation fee, regardless of when or why cancellation occurs (however we do take into consideration medical and weather issues)
      • Should you choose to "roll-over" your reservation (rather than canceling it), to the following year or alternate dates, we will waive all fees.
        
  • Our OFF-Season (October through April) cancellation policy
    • Cancellations should be made at least two weeks in advance of arrival.  If you have made a deposit, you will receive a refund. 
    • In the event that you cancel less than two weeks in advance, if you have made a deposit, your refund will be limited to the resale rate of cabin.
    • Weather and other circumstances will be taken into consideration. 
    • All Off-Season cancellations are subject to a $10 per night, per room, cancellation fee, regardless of when or why cancellation occurs.
• DISCOUNT Policies:
• Our rates are already very reasonable and discounted from many offering far less.  If we do run a special or promotion, you must have booked your reservation during the time the promotion is active in order to receive the discount.
