We are a tiny "Ma & Pa" operation that is very much "hands on." Lynda personally inspects each cabin and room prior to our guests' arrivals, and makes herself as accessible to guests as she can, to answer your questions and assist with activity planning. Paul can usually be found on the grounds tending to the gardens. We also employ one or two workers to assist us during summer months.

Check-in: After 4 PM - by 8 PM

RESERVATION POLICIES:

All lodging subject to 3% tax

We Accept: Visa, MasterCard, Cash, Travelers' Checques

Reservations for May through Sept Require 50% or 1 night deposit (whichever is greater)

Balance due upon arrival; cash payments receive 3% discount

Deposits are due in January, or at the time of booking, which ever comes later

2 or 3 night (depends on unit) minimum advance booking unless a 1 night opening exists

Qualify for our lowest "GO Green Rate" by staying at least 5 nights

1 night reservations require 100% deposit and are not normally available more than 7 days in advance (unless a one night opening exists)

Reservations for March and April Qualify for our lowest" GO GREEN Rate" by staying at least 5 nights AND get the 6th night free!

Cash discounts are available

HOUSEKEEPING POLICIES:
During your stay, you have your cabin or room, to yourselves, for your maximum privacy. Housekeeping will visit your unit on the following schedule:

Fresh towels every 2-3 days (more frequently on request)

Fresh sheets every 7 days (more frequently on request)

Fresh supplies every 2-3 days or as needed (more frequently on request)

Trash removal every 2-3 days or as needed (more frequently on request)

We want guests to be comfortable and happy and will adjust the above schedule as requested.

CANCELLATION Policies:
We are an extremely tiny company serving a limited number of guests each year. We strongly suggest travel insurance, and have some recommendations should you need some.
- Our SUMMER Season (May through September) cancellation policy
  - Cancellations that occur more than ninety (90) days in advance, will receive a refund of deposit, minus the cancellation fee
  - Cancellations that occur within ninety (90) days, will receive refunded deposits once the cabin or room is resold.
  - All cancellations are subject to a $20 per day cancellation fee, regardless of when or why cancellation occurs (however we do take into consideration medical and weather issues)
- Our OFF-Season (March & April) cancellation policy
  - Cancellations should be made at least two weeks in advance of arrival. If you have made a deposit, you will receive a refund.
  - In the event that you cancel less than two weeks in advance, your refund will be limited to the resale rate of cabin.
  - Weather and other circumstances will be taken into consideration.
  - All Off-Season cancellations are subject to a $10 per day cancellation fee, regardless of when or why cancellation occurs.
DISCOUNT Policies:
Our rates are already very reasonable and discounted from many offering far less. If we do run a special or promotion, you must have booked your reservation during the time the promotion is active in order to receive the discount.

There are so many things to do in Seward, Alaska and the surrounding area, from simple wildlife watching and hiking to boat tours into the Kenai Fjords National Park to see glaciers and wildlife, that we encourage you to stay at least 3 nights so that you can take advantage of the numerous activities that make Seward such a special place to visit. The mountains surrounding Resurrection Bay provide spectacular scenery and they are alive with wildlife, as is the bay itself. The wildlife of the area includes bald eagles, bear (both black and brown), mountain goats, dall sheep, sea lions, dall porpoise, harbor seal, sea otters, humpback whales, sea birds & ducks too numerous to list! Seward itself is a charming town with two distinct areas of enjoyment. Downtown Seward offers a number of special businesses. The Seward Small Boat Harbor is a delightful place to walk around on a nice day (with an ice cream cone from the Harbor Creamery, if you like!), and the Alaska SeaLife Center and Seward Museum, or any of several coffee shops, are perfect places to spend a rainy afternoon. Since all of our waterfront lodging accommodations (cabins, view rooms) have kitchenettes, you won't have to eat all your meals out, but when you want to, there are a number of excellent restaurants in Seward Alaska.
