This is by no means a comprehensive list of all the shops, just our favorites and the ones we think you shouldn't miss! What we have listed below are only those Seward area businesses that are open year round. There are also many "seasonal" shops.  Be sure to give yourself time to experience some heavenly relaxation in these very special cabins just south of Seward, Alaska, on the shores of Resurrection Bay, on the Kenai Peninsula, with spectacular wildlife and scenery surrounding them.

    • Alaska Shop — downtown, gifts, and a Radio Shack, for camera/vcr supplies
  • Brown & Hawkins — downtown, historic site, clothing & gifts & handmade candies!
  • Ranting Raven — downtown, unique gifts, wonderful shop! Great little bakery in the back too!
  • Once in a Blue Moose — downtown, Alaskan artwork & gifts
  • Stylin' Stitches — downtown, get our logo or any other theme custom embroidered on clothes & hats, etc.
  • Softly Silk — midtown on 4th Ave., don't miss this special shop, local artist paints on silk

    The cabins are about 3 miles from downtown.

        • Wells Fargo, mid-town on 3rd (Seward Highway) at D Street

        • Progressive Chiropractic Dr. Hayes
        • Both are great
      • Drugstore — there is only one in town, at the Safeway, closed Sundays

        • Glacier Family Medical is located on the Seward Highway across from the turn off for Exit Glacier
        • Providence Family Clinic & Emergency is located at Jefferson & 1st Avenue.

        • Safeway on the Seward Highway just north of the turn off for the boat harbor area
        • Three Bears, just south of Safeway, has some fresh produce, but in general is better for bulk purchases only
      • Gym/Fitness Center
        • REZ located downtown on 5th, and geared for drop in clients
        • Total Health & Fitness, located across from the turn off to Exit Glacier, on the Seward Highway
      • Ice Cream — in the boat harbor, The Creamery
      • Library — downtown on 5th & Adams
      • Laundromat
        • Self-serve, at Bear Creek Trailer Park, mile 6 of the Seward Highway
        • Drop laundry at Suds & Swirl, south west corner of 3rd Ave & Jefferson (great service)
      • Movie Theatre — 1st runs! Downtown on Adams between 3rd & 4th 224-5418 to check show times
      • Museum — downtown on 3rd & Jefferson, great little historic museum
      • Miller's Landing — located ON Lowell Point, (seasonally) has necessities such as ice, eggs, milk, bait, firewood, coin op laundry facility

        • Three Bears Shell, Seward Highway north of Port Ave. on West side (mile 2)
        • Essential One, Seward Highway, south of Safeway
      • Service Station — Mechanic, Auto Tech, Mile 6 Seward Highway
